Canon Releases the NEW TM productline!

The TM Series, an ideal solution for printing technical documents, CAD drawings and GIS maps, uses Canon’s LUCIA TD water resistant pigment ink which opens up more usage for those who print posters, signs and displays –even on uncoated media. Incorporated with some of the same technologies developed with the award winning TX Series; a 5-color LUCIA TD pigment ink set, PF-06 print head, L-COA PRO image processor, along with a clear intuitive touch screen operation panel, direct USB drive printing (TM-305), and nearly 60% quieter than previous models, this printer is an easy choice for the architectural, engineering and construction industries as well as office environments. Included in these solutions is a host of creative and workflow software with options for both the experienced and novice users alike. Newly developed for this series is Free Layout Plus, a print utility that allows users to tile, nest and create custom layouts before printing. Also included is an improved Direct Print & Share, a cloud portal and batch printing software with new features added as does Canon’s poster creation software PosterArtist Lite.

The new TM Series is designed with the quality, speed and ease-of-use that customers have come to expect from Canon’s imagePROGRAF devices. With added noise canceling technology built-in, the TM Series is a great fit for small offices as its quiet nature allows for less distraction in the workplace.
Faster multipage output time, lower running costs than previous models, and easy roll loading are just some of the innovations packed into these compact printers. Security features to help prevent leaks or intrusion have been added to help sell into markets that have stricter security requirements.

Launching at the same time are three new series of Scan-to-Copy/File/Share systems, the imagePROGRAF TM MFP T36, TM MFP Lei and iPF770/670 MFP Lei models.

The TM MFP T36 are the most robust of the new systems, with the option of either the TM-305 or TM 300 printer paired with the 36-inch T36 scanner, an all-in-one computer and SmartWorks software. These systems are more integrated as they feature the direct attachment of the scanner to the printer, eliminating the need for a separate stand, saving space in close quarters. The imagePROGRAF TM MFP T36 Series provides users with an intuitive 15.6-inch color touchscreen- larger than similar competitive models, the ability to scan to multipage PDF is standard and scan-to-copy and scan-to-file simultaneously is now possible. This series is designed to fit a variety of markets, including architecture, engineering, construction, education, general graphics, and office document enlargements.

The TM MFP Lei systems enable easy large-format scanning and copying without a computer, through simple operations, like using a copy machine. Designed for copying and digitizing prints in departments with relatively low-volume output such as subcontractors, architects and also offices, retail, or education these compact systems are a great fit for the entry level user. The Lei scanner will also be available with the iPF770 and iPF670 printers.
